Puno

We awoke really quite early the next morning and taken to the bus station where we were personally escorted all the way to Puno as we may have got lost of we attempted it ourselves. The journey included crossing a narrow straight on lake Titicaca where our bus took a dodgy looking barge and we were loaded onto a slightly more seaworthy timber boat.
We stayed in Puno a couple of nights with the day in between taken up by a boat ride out to some floating islands on which people lived and a rocksit.
We are currently in Cusco after a 11 hour bus trip which included brief stops at ruins, rope bridges and churches.
The trip is taking its toll on the group with quite a few suffering stomach bugs, altitude sickness and jetlag.
We have no idea what Paul has but he sounds like crap.
