Santiago

Well, 14 hours on a plane is not what it's cracked up to be. We landed and it was still Friday and our 

Spanish is still crap.

The sunrise over the Pacific Ocean was spectacular, as was the view of the snow capped Andes on our approch into Santiago.

We checked into our 18 story hotel and were given a room on the top floor. Awesome.........hang on didn't they have a pretty serious earthquake a few weeks ago? Ahhhh.....shit!

Grabbed a few hours sleep then headed out around 11PM to go to a function with the Santiago Saints AFL club to watch the Hawks smash the Eagles in the grand final. Ended up back at the hotel around 4:30 in the morning. I don't think that assisted us in getting over our jet lag.
